I-Code - the latest transponder generation
I-Code consists of a silicone chip with
an exernal coil. It has a read/write memory of 48 Byte. The reading distance between 2 read/write devices can be up to 1m.
Be cause of the frequency of 13,56 MHz the
coil can be kept very flat. The whole transponder can be integrated,
wafer-thin, in or under a label. Thus various new
applications are possible for labeling or identifying of goods. Some examples include luggage recognition, checking of stocks or pirating of products.
