RFID reader with USB CDC interface

ZeitControl cardsystems has expanded its range of industrial RFID readers with the CDC (Communications Device Class) option. More commonly known as virtual COM port. In contrast to the HID variants this one enables an application to communicate with the reader via a serial communication protocol.

The CDC option is available for the RFID sticks, TagTracer industry and desktop devices with a USB interface. The transponder types Mifare Classic 1K / 4K, Mifare Ultralight, Mifare DESFire, BasicCard 7.5, NTAG and at 125KHz: EM4102, EM4150, Hitag-1, Hitag-2, Hitag-S can be used at 13.56 MHz.
