The Chip-X intern is a reader for cards using contact chip technology. The device is connected by a RS-232 interface. An USB adapter is available on request.

It supports synchronous memory chip technology (2-wire-protocol like SLE4432 / SLE4442, I²C- and extended I²C-Bus).

Further it can be used with asynchronous processor cards using a T=0 and T=1 protocol like GSM- or pay cards.

Chip-x intern is designed for integration in a 3.5 disk drive. It comes with a 3-colour LED status panel and is supplied with free software (HEX-editor).
